Chris Chatterton has always been extremely interested in local community initiatives and was elected as a member of Gloucester City Council in 2012. He served as Mayor of Gloucester (2013-2014) attending more than 1,000 events across the city and beyond, supporting local charities, businesses and other organisations. He worked as an English teacher in secondary schools before serious injury forced a change in career. He was recently appointed as Museum Director of the Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum and is heavily involved in charity work. He gives regular talks across the city and in the media on Gloucester’s rich and varied past and is a passionate ambassador.
