Faye Kamara and Sarah White
HGT is delighted to welcome Faye Kamara and Sarah White to the HGT Board, who both bring a wealth of experience in their new roles as Trustees. Nick Gazzard says: “We are extremely lucky to have Faye and Sarah joining the Board and we’re looking forward to all the initiatives and events that we have planned in 2017 and beyond.”
With more than eight years’ experience working within the domestic violence sector, Faye Kamara was honoured to have been asked to become a Trustee. From supporting victims through the court process to leading a county strategy on reducing the harm caused by such issues, Faye also dedicated her Masters dissertation to domestic violence by evaluating a perpetrator programme. She is passionate about raising awareness of the issues and the vital services that can help support silent victims of domestic abuse and stalking. Meanwhile, Sarah White is no stranger to HGT having become joint manager of the Hollie Helpers in 2016. As Trustee responsible for all HGT and external events, as well as continuing to manage the Hollie Helpers alongside Hannah Jones, Sarah is a vital link between the Trust and the wider community. She is passionate about HGT, its aims and objectives and the inspiring work it carries out. Sarah, like Faye, feels very honoured to have been invited to become a Trustee and is determined to help drive events forward.
