We are delighted to have been selected as charity partner for the 2021 Run Gloucester 10k.
Gloucester is our home city, and The Trust has received incredible support from local people since inception, following Hollie’s tragic murder in February 2014. Support that is really helping us make a difference to the people who need it most.
The Run Gloucester 10k will take place on Sunday 4th July 2021 at 8:45am. The aim of the route is to showcase the city, so it passes Gloucester Cathedral, goes through the Docks and Gloucester Quays, and along the canal towpath. Given the intention of taking in the sites it does twist in the odd place but is still a fast course. The event can also be run virtually.
The Race Director is Nigel Tillott, supported by the Committee of Tewkesbury Running Club and by Davies and Partners Solicitors, where he heads up the Gloucester office. The other major organisers of the event are Gloucester Quays Rotary who in particular are responsible for the race route set up and marshalling.
Nick Gazzard said: ‘’It’s fantastic to have the support of Run Gloucester. The event and running route are iconic to the city of Gloucester, and so to have the exposure and backing of such a prestigious event in Hollie’s home city is just incredible. Thank you to the organisers who have chosen us, and we wish all the runners the very best on the day.’’
