A Gloucestershire Police launch a month-long, no questions asked knife amnesty to cleanse Gloucester of blades routinely carried by people we’ve looked back at previous campaigns. These shocking blades were carried on the streets of Gloucester prior to the last knife amnesty. We’ve taken a look back as Gloucestershire Police are once again appealing for people living in the city to give up the blades they are carrying. Last year saw a surge in violent crimes involving knives in the county, particularly in Gloucester where 14 people were stabbed in just 12 months.
