The Hollie Gazzard Trust is a Gloucestershire-based charity with a nationwide reach. It was set up in 2014 by Hollie’s family, Nick, Amanda, and Chloe, following her horrific murder. While nothing can change the events of that tragic day, the Trust was created so that something positive could come from Hollie’s loss.
Our mission is to help prevent other families and individuals from going through what Hollie experienced by focusing on three core aims:
We shine a light on the realities of domestic abuse, stalking, and violence against women and girls. By sharing Hollie’s story and the experiences of others, we raise awareness across communities and help break the silence around harmful behaviours.
Education is at the heart of what we do. We deliver engaging workshops in schools, universities and workplaces that promote healthy relationships, challenge controlling behaviours, and empower people to speak out and support others.
We’re committed to creating tools and programmes that protect individuals before harm can occur. One of our key initiatives is the Hollie Guard personal safety app, powered by PanicGuard, which provides practical support to those at risk and is actively promoted by police forces and professionals across the UK.
Hollie had suffered from domestic abuse and stalking in the time leading up to her death. Tackling these issues remains at the forefront of the Trust’s work. While Hollie’s family are still devastated by her untimely death, they hope the work of the Trust and the funds raised in Hollie’s memory can help others find a better future and reach their full potential.
