CBRE Women’s Network Event

Nick Gazzard and Sara Dillon attended a CBRE Ltd Womens Network Event recently, and were guest speakers for their Domestic Abuse initiative to raise awareness and assist staff with issues around the subject. CBRE Ltd are the global leader in commercial real estate services and investments.

Sara Dillon, Training Manager at Hollie Gazzard Trust said: ”Nick and I presented online to a nationwide conference organised by CBRE for their employees, focused on raising awareness of Domestic Abuse and providing information and support to anyone within CBRE that may need support. It was very heartening to see such a large organisation taking the time to focus on such an important subject and providing such a comprehension support package to anyone that might require help.”

Natasha McEntee, Associate Director at CBRE Ltd, gave us the following feedback:

”We were delighted to host Sara and Nick at our Women’s Network event, as guest speakers for our Domestic Abuse initiative to raise awareness. From our initial conversation, Sara could not have done more to help us with the preparation for the session and was always on hand to assist. During the presentation, Nick and Sara spoke so passionately about the Hollie Gazzard Trust and the fantastic work that they do to help support people and promote awareness for this incredibly important issue.

Nick spoke so beautifully about Hollie and the whole session was a moving tribute to the wonderful person that she clearly was. I couldn’t help feeling a real sense of Hollie’s energy and passion for life and how much she was loved by all who knew her.

As a business, it is so valuable for us to be able to access the sort of guidance that they provide and the forum for conversation that they inspire. As a society, we need to talk about these issues and the Hollie Gazzard Trust faces the challenge head on. We have merely scratched the surface of the training and support available and I very much hope that we can work closely with them in the future. Nick and Sara are both so warm and positive. I came away feeling a real sense of hope that there are organisations who sincerely care and are committed to making lasting change through dialogue and education.”

Hollie Gazzard Trust Founder and CEO, Nick Gazzard said: ”We were made very welcome and received great hospitality from Natasha. It’s so important that businesses take positive action around domestic abuse, and we are pleased to see a company of CBRE Ltd size and stature doing just that. Our training programmes are a perfect way for organisations to not only engage with the charity, but also benefit from the skills and knowledge learned. We hope to build upon this relationship moving forward and to provide further training in the future.”
