On 26th February 2025 supporters, friends, and colleagues got together at Gloucester Brewery to celebrate a special occasion – Nick Gazzard being awarded an OBE for his tireless work in raising awareness of domestic abuse and violence through the Hollie Gazzard Trust.
The event was a tribute to Nick’s incredible dedication over the last 11 years, bringing together those who have played a role in supporting both him and the charity. From volunteers and trustees to business partners and individuals who have championed the cause, the room was filled with people who have contributed to the Trust’s success.
Nick Gazzard OBE took to the stage to deliver a speech reflecting on the journey of the Hollie Gazzard Trust since its inception. He spoke of the challenges faced, gave a heartfelt thank you to staff and those who have supported the cause and helped make a difference, and reinforced the importance of the work that continues in Hollie’s memory – as the smiling painting of Hollie looked down on the room at Gloucester Brewery.
Nick said: ”Thank you to everyone who came along. I am incredibly honoured to have been awarded an OBE, but this recognition is not just for me, it is for every single person who has supported the Hollie Gazzard Trust over the years. Thank you. It’s always important to remember Hollie too, she is the driving force behind the charity and we will continue to fight in her name.”
Adding to the atmosphere, live entertainment was provided by the fantastic Tommy Lewis!
A huge congratulations to Nick Gazzard OBE. A well-deserved honour for someone who has genuinely worked tirelessly to tackle the issues Hollie faced and to help others who find themselves in that situation.
