As a part of the Hollie Gazzard Trust’s 10th anniversary commemorations in 2024, we are delighted to be able to bring Elles Bailey to Gloucester as one of our key fundraising events. On the 12th of October, we will be joined by Bristol-born, blues rock singer, songwriter, and pianist, Elles Bailey at the Gloucester Guildhall.
Elles has recorded five studio albums including her debut album “Wildfire” in 2017. Her music features heavily on Planet Rock and BBC Radio 2 and she has won several awards for her work:
- Artist of the Year – The UK Americana Awards 2022.
- Nominated Vocalist of the Year – The UK Blues Awards 2022.
Elles Bailey’s forthcoming album ‘Beneath The Neon Glow’, her first album released under Cooking Vinyl, is an exploration of love’s myriad forms. Through lyrically vulnerable and brutally honest songwriting, she delves into the depths of heartbreak, the resilience of friendship, and the enduring power of love that spans a lifetime. With beautifully uplifting melodies and first class instrumentation from her incredible live band, this record captures the essence of all the shades of love that have shaped Bailey’s life and she fearlessly navigates through the spectrum of human emotion, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into her journey.
The show promises to be an exciting mix of high-energy rock and soulful blues – one not to be missed!
