Guardians of Tomorrow Event

Empowering young people through motivational leadership and development strategies at a professional seminar.

The Hollie Gazzard Trust recently hosted an event for safeguarding leads from schools across Gloucestershire, focusing on the growing challenges schools face in keeping pupils safe.

Held in partnership with SCG South West, the event provided a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, network, and explore key safeguarding issues such as cyber threats, knife crime, emergency planning, and healthy relationships.

CEO Jane Harvey said: “We live in times where knife crime, domestic violence, and the need to lock down schools are real-world challenges. Schools are carrying a huge responsibility to keep their people safe.”

The event was held on 16th October 2025 at the TSB Bank Head Office in Gloucester and aimed to equip school staff with the tools to spot red flags, raise alarms, and protect pupils more effectively.

Through initiatives like this the Hollie Gazzard Trust continues to support schools and communities in building safer environments for young people. The charity plans to hold future events like this so please stay tuned for any further details.
