We are proud to share that our Founder and CEO, Nick Gazzard, made an impactful appearance on Crimewatch Live on Monday 14th October on BBC 1. During this episode, Nick had the opportunity to talk about the incredible work being done in memory Hollie, the Hollie Gazzard Trust, and our innovative personal safety app, Hollie Guard.

Nick shared Hollie’s story, highlighting the reasons behind the formation of the Hollie Gazzard Trust and how it is making a real difference in raising awareness of domestic abuse, stalking, and other issues that affect personal safety. His heartfelt account of Hollie’s life and legacy served as a powerful reminder of the importance of safety and the work the Trust continues to do to protect others.

One of the highlights of Nick’s appearance was a live demonstration of Hollie Guard. This personal safety app is designed to keep users safe by transforming a smartphone into a personal safety device. During the demonstration, Nick explained how the app works in real-time, showing its ability to alert emergency contacts at the touch of a button, and how it can also track and monitor a user’s journey. Viewers got an inside look at the app’s various safety features, which include a “shake to activate” alarm, live location tracking, and video evidence collection.

Hollie Guard is a critical tool in promoting personal safety, especially for those vulnerable to domestic violence, stalking, and other dangerous situations. The demonstration on the programme showed how easy it is to use, offering peace of mind to thousands of people who need an extra layer of security in their everyday lives.

Nick said: ”I’m really grateful to Crimewatch Live for giving me the platform to spread awareness about what we do, share the importance of personal safety, and demonstrate how Hollie Guard can save lives.”
