Thank you to everyone who came along, donated and fundraised for Walk4Hollie 2022. π
The annual event is always a highlight of the charity calendar, and this year was extra special as the previous two years were either postponed or held virtually. Engaging and getting together with supporters is so important and we were delighted to be able to hold the walk in person once again.
The Glevum Inn in Longlevens hosted us at the start and finish line, with all walkers gathering from 10am on Sunday 15th May. Nick greeted everyone with some opening words before the group set off on the circa 5 mile walk at 10:30am. This year we had extra special guests as we were joined by Gloucestershire Mounted Police who provided an excellent chaperone on the route around Gloucester, and back to The Glevum Inn.
It was great to see familiar faces and also meet lots of new people, and we can’t thank everyone enough for their support, donations and efforts during what has been testing times for all.
We now look forward to the events later in the year including Purple HollieDay on Friday 8th July 2022 and also our annual dinner being held in November at Hatherley Manor Hotel.
