Women’s Safety Charter

The Hollie Gazzard Trust’s Women’s Safety Charter is a powerful initiative that supports businesses and organisations in making public, practical commitments to improve the safety of women, both in the workplace and in the wider community.

Developed by the Trust in response to growing concerns about women’s safety, the Charter sets out a series of clear, achievable actions that employers can take to foster a safer, more inclusive environment. Whether you’re a small business or a large organisation, signing up shows that you take this issue seriously and are ready to be part of the change.

What does the Charter involve?

By signing the Charter, your organisation commits to:

  • Taking practical steps to improve safety for women in and around your premises.
  • Promoting a culture of respect, equality, and zero tolerance of harassment or abuse.
  • Providing staff with access to relevant training, such as bystander awareness or personal safety sessions.
