The Hollie Gazzard Trust is pleased to announce that the organisation has been crowned Charity of the Year at the 2025 SoGlos Lifestyle Awards.
Celebrating the very best of Gloucestershire’s lifestyle sector, the eighth annual awards ceremony was held on Thursday 8th May 2025 at the Pittville Pump Room in Cheltenham. With over 220 organisations shortlisted across 19 categories, and more than 28,000 votes cast by members of the public, competition was tough.
Hollie Gazzard Trust CEO, Jane Harvey, said: ”It means so much to everyone involved with Hollie Gazzard Trust that people in Gloucestershire voted for our charity in the SoGlos Lifestyle Awards. It’s eleven years since Hollie was killed and the ongoing support from our community shows people are aware of how much there still is left to do to change things.”
”We exist to prevent what happened to Hollie from happening to anyone else. We want to make sure no other families and communities suffer the devastating consequences of abusive relationships and that everyone is empowered to recognise the warning signs so we can keep each other safe.”
”We’re preventing future harm by educating young people about healthy relationships and working with employers and organisations to create safe work environments. We’re protecting people now through Hollie Guard safety app which provides users with immediate help and better access to justice by enabling them to securely log evidence of repeat high risk offences like domestic abuse and stalking.”
”Solving this problem is a community effort. We need your help so please get in touch.”
The winners were chosen by a panel of expert judges representing each of the award category partners. We are honoured to be recognised among such inspiring organisations making a real difference in our county.
Thank you to our dedicated team of staff, volunteers, trustees, and incredible supporters who champion our work every day. This hard work and support is what drives our mission to create a safer future through education and prevention.
We would like to say thank you to SoGlos, The Cheltenham Trust, headline sponsors Pro Global and Made in Gloucestershire, and all who helped deliver such a memorable evening.
