Indian Rasoi hosted a charity dinner in aid of the Hollie Gazzard Trust. Diners paid for a set menu and took part in a raffle, with all profits going to the charity.

The charity helps reduce domestic violence through creating and delivering programmes on the subject as well as promoting healthy relationships to schools and colleges. Tragically Hollie had experienced domestic abuse as part of her relationship that was to end in her losing her life at hairdressers, Fringe Benefits in Gloucester City centre on 18 February 2014.

Nick Gazzard, Hollie’s father and CEO & Founder of the Hollie Gazzard Trust, was in attendance on the night and said: ”Thank you so much to Roman and all the team at Indian Rasoi. The set menu created by Roman was delicious and all the staff were attentive and really did care that we had the best service. Having the support of local businesses is crucial, not just to raise vital funds but keeping the awareness of who we are and what we do is so important. Thank you again to Roman and his team.”

Roman Abu, runs Indian Rasoi and said: “The support from those who donated to the raffle, to those that joined us for the set three course menu has been amazing, thank you to Cirencester, Nick and staff, Richard Gray and Sara Dillon, who attended.” he added.
