Remembering Hollie: 8 Years On

On Friday 18th February 2022, Nick Gazzard will host a Facebook Live as we remember Hollie, 8 years since she was cruelly taken. We invite you to join us on Facebook from around 6:45pm, and to light a candle at home. We’ll also observe a slience at 6:51pm, which was the time of Hollie’s death on the same day in 2014.

The Hollie Gazzard Trust was created following the murder of 20-year-old Hollie Gazzard in 2014 by an
ex-partner. Hollie had suffered domestic abuse and stalking prior to being fatally stabbed at her place of work.
No one knew what Hollie was experiencing because, although there were warning signs, no one fully
understood what they meant or the extreme danger she was in. After Hollie lost her life, her family, determined to improve the way society understands the issues that affected their much-loved daughter, set up a charity in her name.

Over the years we have come together at Hollie’s Bench in Gloucester on 18th February each year. However, the pandemic meant we took the event online in 2021, which was so well attended we have decided to keep this going in 2022. It allows our supporters to join in from home and light a candle in Hollie’s name.

You can find us on Facebook and follow our page to be able to watch the live video HERE.

We hope many of you can join us for this special occasion. 💜
