Two team represented HGT at this years 2014 South West Tough Mudder held at the Bathurst Estate in Cirencester.
King Teddy bar Staff Hannah Jones, Amy Long and DAS Underwriters Mark Robson, Neil Thomas, Chris Morter and Mark Wilson.
The morning started cloudy with a few drops of rain but was not enough to dampen spirits for the competitors or spectators. By the afternoon there was bright sunshine. DAS Underwriters were first to start at 9:40 followed by the King Teddy bar staff at 10:40. The 11.5 mile course had 25 obstacles to get through and included Arctic Enema (container full of ice old water) with the average temp of O degrees, Walk the Plank with a 12 foot vertical drop into muddy water, Monkey Bars (Water pit below), Mud mile with 500k liters of mud, 10 foot high Hero Walls, Kiss of Mud under barbed wire all finishing up with Electroshock therapy.
A great time was had by both teams who finished between 3-4 hours and made lots of cash for HGT. At last count it was over £2,000.
