Hollie’s 21st Birthday weekend took place at the King Teddy, Longlevens and the Gloucester community turned out in their numbers to support and enjoy a fun filled weekend.
On Saturday, it all kicked off with Potter’s cocktails including Hollie’s own cocktail. These were served in Hollies special cocktail glasses. During the afternoon a number live acts entertained on the decking and included, Joel Ramsey, Jake Sheppard, Ellie Higgs and Buska Rymes. Oli Foster a slight of hand magician also amazed with his card tricks. The day included a live auction and candles being lit for Hollie at 8:00pm. Many turned out in fancy dress for the Harry Potter themed party and were thoroughly entertained by the checkered Souls.
On Sunday it was family day with lots of children attending. Mandy, Chloe and Nick released three white Doves to celebrate Hollie’s 21st. Again numerous live acts during the afternoon on the decking including Muchos Tequilas Later, Tommy Lewis, Mason O’Brien, Smith and Jones and rounding off with Benji Clements and his band. A BBQ was on hand to feed the masses and characters from Frozen were there to meet the young ones. Inside there was a sweet stall and giant birthday cake which was cut and given to those who had not filled up on the BBQ. The day was rounded off with a Quiz, Deal or no Deal game and rock and roll bingo.
A thoroughly enjoyable weekend and the Trust would like to that Sian and Clare for organizing, Kieran and Kae for the HP party, all the live acts and other entertainers and all those who donated prizes and their time and especially the bar staff who did a great job.
Finally, with the online auction, a massive £7,500 was raised over the weekend which will go towards supporting the Trust’s good causes.
