18th February 2014 at 6:51pm Hollie Gazzard was tragically taken at just 20 years of age, and the lives of Hollie’s friends and family changed forever.

Today marks 11 years since that fateful day, and to mark the occasion we are asking our supporters to light a candle at 6:51pm to remember Hollie, and to reflect the light and brightness she brought to people in her short life. We encourage you to upload photos to the comments section, or stories, on social media so we can then share them in the coming days.

The charity continues to tackle issues such as domestic abuse, stalking, and knife crime through training and educational programmes for schools, colleges, universities, businesses and community groups. The charity also spreads awareness of these issues, and has developed Hollie Guard, a free to download app which turns a smartphone in to a personal safety device.

Nick Gazzard OBE said: ”When we set up the trust back in 2014 we just wanted to help one person. We could never have dreamt how big the trust has got and the impact that it’s had. I’m sure Hollie would be looking down on us now and be very proud, I know what she would be like she would be very proud of what’s happening, but she’d still be on my shoulder saying get on with it you’ve got a job to do there’s still lots of people out there suffering so get out and do as much as you can to help those individuals.”

Thank you for your support over the last 11 years. 💜
